Housed in an original A&P grocery store in Highland Park, IL, E Street Denim Company has become a destination for denim in the Chicagoland area and on its infamous North Shore. Today, visitors from all over the country shop in our store to experience what some refer to as the largest selection of denim in one room in the US. Established in 1990 and home to the Original Denim Bar, E Street houses some 12,000 pairs of jeans from about 60-70 vendors in hundreds of fits and finishes.

Our store in Highland Park started in an 800 square feet space. Today, E Street Denim has expanded to incorporate 12,000 square feet. Excitingly, our company continues to grow with the addition of The E Street Kids/E Street Girl division targeting infants thru girls sizes 7-14; The E Street Boutique dedicated to outfitting the dressier needs of our customers’ lifestyle; and Rubb, our unique department specializing in indulgences for the home and body. This past summer we opened a second location in Lake Geneva, WI as a thrilling new addition to the resort town’s growing business community. The store is located in the heart of the town’s main shopping area in one of their beautiful historic buildings.

When entering the store you will find warm old restored fixtures, warm woods, and uniquely-inspired architecture adorned with an outrageous selection of denim and coordinating products. In the women’s department alone, four row houses down the side of the building hold 13 dressing rooms. Yet, it’s our highly trained and experienced staff ranging in age from 16 to 60 that guarantees to find you the best fitting jeans.

E Street Denim Company is proud to be a valued partner to many current and past vendors. Their success has been our success. We pride ourselves in being Lucky Brand’s first customer and developing into Michael Star’s largest single door retailer in the world. We are fortunate to have built wonderful relationships with companies such as 7 For All Mankind, Paige Premium Denim, J Brand, and Chip and Pepper. These attributes continue to be a major part of our history and evolution. We are truly honored to have been named in Nylon Magazine as one of the top 50 stores in the world, to be voted into Sportswear International as “Who’s Who in Retailing” 10 times running, placed in the History of Denim, as well as mentioned as the “Best of the Best” in Chicago Magazine. However, it is you, the customer, who keeps coming back, our employees who begin working in high school and continue beyond their college experiences, as well as our family-inspired ambience that makes us the proudest.
